Yes2elouuni Laih A7ibek, 7oub Ma7abah Bashar..

following story is based on untrue events, some of which will be true, however.. i'd be stealing those stories and events from friends of mine..

enjoy :)

This post is for N, thank you for your support lately:) 3a6aiteeni kalam wala shaja3ni..

***********

"Why didn't you write me? Why? It wasn't over for me, I waited for you for seven years.. But now, it's too late.." said Allie.

"I wrote you 365 letters. I write you everyday for a YEAR.." said Noah.

Allie looked up. "You wrote me?" she asked.

Noah paused and looked at her. "Yes... it wasn't over.. It STILL isn't over!" He rushes and kisses Allie passionately. He caught her as she threw herself on him and wrapped her legs around him. It was pouring rain..

Shaikha reached for more tissue as she sobbed. It was a Saturday night, and she stayed in and watched her favorite movie and had some ice cream.

"You go Allie!" Shaikha managed to say as she blew my nose. The Notebook was my ultimate all time favorite movie that she would never get bored of.

Shaikha scuffed down more vanilla bean ice cream and cookie dough down her throat. She heard a soft knock on the door. She got up and wrapped the shawl around herself. The floor was surrounded with a sea of tissues.

"Yaaaya yaya!" Shaikha grunted as she swung the door open.

Fajer, her best friend, was right in front of the door with two cups of coffee. She stared at Shaikha for a while until she broke the silence, "Deshai deshaii.." Shaikha opened the door wider and motioned her to come inside.

"Entai shimsawya ib 3umrich Shayoukh?!" she gasped. "Shaikha 7aram 3alaaich ely tsaweenah!"

Fajer put down the coffee on the table and put her long luscious black hair back into a pony tail. She grabbed her best friend's hands and dragged her back to sit and talk.

"7ayati may9eer chithee tsaween.." Fajer said as she plopped down on the large comfortable chair. "Wallaah uhwa 7maar, uhwa el khasraan!"

"Adri Fajourah, bas walah hathi bachyaat qahaar.. yakel kharaah abchi 3alah shaanah.. ga3da abchi 3al wa'63 elkhaays ely ana feeh! Yarabi.. mafeeh wa7d san3 I ever met him in my life? Kelehoum ye6le3oun nafs elshai Fajoura?! La2., ya3ni shai mo 6abee3i!" Shaikha sniffled and fought back her tears.

Fajer opened the coffee and broke three Splenda packets into each of the cups. As she stirred the coffee, Shaikha smelt French Vanilla coffee.. 'Aaah, it was just in time..' Shaikha thought silently to herself.

"Walah 9a7 kalamich ou lech kel 7ag inech it6al3een 7aritich.." she said softly. She closed the caps again and handed Shaikha one of the cups. "Shrayich ingoum itghayreen jaw shuwaiiya?" she suggested.

Shaikha took a big sip and felt the warm coffee slide through her throat. She tucked her hair behind her ears and whined, "Fajouuur.. male khelg.. Shiftay shaklee bas?!"

"Me5alif, goumai tesabe7ay wana a6ale3lich ihdoum ou ne6laa3 ou infakerlena mukan inrou7lah, shrayich?"

She stared at Fajer for a while.. She was hesitant.. Shaikha really didn't feel like going out right now.. Her eyes were bloodshot red, and her nose was also turning scarlet red from all the tissues She've used recently.

"3ala shani?" Fajer put on her famous puppy-dog-eyes+I'm-so-innocent&cute-face again. Shaikha couldn't resist saying no to those big green eyes of hers.

"Fine, but I'll drive." A smile broke through Shaikha's face.

"YAAY!" She jumped out of her seat and offered Shaikha her hand. Shaikha got up and walked to her dressing room. She got towels, and undies ready, and hit the shower.

Shaikha thought hard about was going on lately in her life. Her first love has recently simply walked out of her life without even looking back. It felt like he literally yanked her heart out and drew a huge X on where it was supposed to be, and merely left.

How could have done this to her? She never thought he would leave her.. He always promised that he would never be the one leaving her. He always told her that he predicts that someone would try to break them up, or Shaikha would have an excuse to leave him..

He always promised to love her, cherish her, and never break her heart. Who knew? Who knew he would break all of his promises?

Shaikha felt hot water trickling down her neck, onto her back. It relieved some of the pain and ache off.. But never out of my heart. She drew his name on the shower stall from all the steam: "يوسف "

Shaikha sighed as she stared his name, hopelessly. She quickly erased the horror of her shower stall with
her palm. He left her for the stupidest reason ever.. That was of course, because he couldn't
see Shaikha one day. Well, it all started out on Valentine's Day: Shaikha couldn't see him because her
mom wanted to spend time with her. She was stuck.. & so, one thing led to another..
Small fights became even bigger and caused unease tension between them.

However, neither of them dared to leave the other.. They lived in fear of leaving each other.

Fajer knocked on the door, "Shaikha.. Yala 7ayati 6awaltai.."

"Enshaalah.." she said softly as she turned the water to the right to turn it off. Stepping out of the
stall, Shaikha grabbed her towel and dried herself.

Shaikha met Fajer in her dressing room and looked at the outfit she had out for her. It was a pretty
white ruffled blouse that had large and a bit see through sleeves. A high-waist black pair of
pants completed the outfit.

Fajer always genuinely supported Shaikha and have always been her back whenever Shaikha needed her.
It was the little things that counted.. From showing up at her place, to French Vanilla coffee,
to picking out the perfect outfit for me to wear.

"Wait!" she quickly grabbed a pair of beige Christian Louboutin and beige matching
clutch. Fajer handed her the accessories to wear.

Shaikha gave her a big hug and whispered, "Thank you." Fajer rubbed her back and said,
"Always here for you, 7ayati."

Shaikha quickly wore her clothes and applied a line of black liquid eye liner. She brushed her
cheeks with a rose-pink color of blush and added pale lipstick to her lips.

They grabbed their coffees and headed out.
***************
3:16 pm

Shaikha climbed in her black G-Class Mercedes and inserted the keys into the ignition. As
the car started up, music blasted loudly from the speakers. Fajer lowered down the
music as a favor for them both: One, it killed her ears. Two, she didn't want Shaikha to be
embarrassed from the neighbors.

Ya mounyaati, ya sanah kha6eri wana a7ibak yasalaam!

Shaikha felt her eyes tearing up rapidly. She had a flashback to a Hala Febrayer concert she had been to.
When Ya Mounyati came up, Yousef quickly sent her a message.

'Ya mounyati! ya sallaaah kha6eri wana a7ibeck ya salam;*'

Shaikha giggled, and replied back, 'ya sanaah, YA SANAAH! latfashelnah chithee yousef..! & thank you
for the lovely message btw;*'

'I don't care, I still love you;*' he replied back.

Shaikha snapped back to reality. Fajer was staring at her, "Oh shit.. It's the song right? Does it remind
you of anything particular?"

Shaikha nodded. Fajer quickly changed the channel and a different song that Shaikha had never heard before
came up. She drove quickly and headed for the highway. The engine roared furiously as she stepped on the gas.

"Where to?" asked Shaikha as she put on her gold Aviator sunglasses and glanced at Fajer.

Fajer took a minute to reflect on the feasible places they could possibly go. "Avenues, then DD's and a cruise around
the beach?"

Shaikha smiled, Fajer's idea made her ecstatic. "3a9eer '6a7ya awal?" Fajer gave her a thumbs up.

Stepping on the gas even faster, Shaikha turned up the music. Aljasmi's song came up. Shaikha and Fajer knew the words to the song by heart. '3umrik semaa3t ib6air, we7ib sejaana? Enshafik enta nesah wesh ta3ni jen7aana..Ana tarani 6airek, ely ye7ibik mouut.. En 7ab galbi ghaairek, bad3e 3alaaih yemout..!'

The girls quickly grabbed their cold refreshing drinks and headed back to the car. As Fajer & Shaikha slurped down their drinks, cold shots of nostalgia awakened them. All those nights they've came to this very ground; on whether it was a cold lonely night, or just to celebrate a victorious and triumphant night.

Surprisingly, they quickly found a parking spot. However, much to their dismay, it was a bit far. Shaikha & Fajer didn't really care. They both adjusted themselves while looking at the mirror, grabbed their purses, and headed upstairs.

Fajer led the way to Limelight. She spotted an adorable white summery dress. While Fajer tried it on, Shaikha cruised around to see if she finds any particular item that was interesting.. A purplish blue cashmere sweater caught her eye. Shaikha touched the sweater; it felt so soft, so warm.. It reminded her of those days where her family and herself gathered around the fireplace in the Shalaih, eating nuts and having hot chocolate going around the room. It reminded her of those days when she was younger, as she struggled to put on her beige cashmere sweater, tugging it hard to manage it through her head. It reminded her of those days she used cuddle in her mother's arms.

"Shaiyoukh?" Fajer broke her trail of thoughts.

"Hallaa?" Shaikha looked around, trying to find her.

"Shrayich bel nafnouuf?" Fajer straightened out her crispy white dress on the sides.

Shaikha smiled, "I love it! Ikhtheeh wayd na3em.."

Fajer beamed and walked back towards the dressing room. She stopped, jerked towards me, and pointed, "Are you going to get that?"

"Eeh.. shrayich feeh?" Shaikha held up the sweater.

"7asbali ba3ad.. Law makhathaaiteeh chan ana khathaitlech eyaah le2ana wayd ghareeb elloun!" Fajer winked.

The girls paid for their new garments and shopped some more. They decided to have lunch at 86, a great restaurant that not much new about it. They hurried to Phase II, because they didn't want to feel the awkwardness of having people stare at them in the middle of the mall. Finally, they passed Lorenzo. Ah, Lorenzo. The home of the snobbiest people who will kill you with their deadly laser staring eyes.

"Wa2a5eeran wusalna!" panted Fajer.

"Eeeh walaah, 9ajaa.." Shaikha said as she stepped into 86. Their usual waiter greeted them at the door and led them to their usual table. They also ordered their usual, two diet cokes, and the famous 86 hamburger.

"Fajour ana barou7 el7amam ba3adel shakli shuway," said Shaikha as she handed the menus back to the waiter. "Tabeen tyeen?" she suggested.

"Laa, 3adi.. rou7ay entai ana na6retich.." said Fajer. Shaikha grabbed her purse and headed towards the exit. "Mu it6awleen!" called out Fajer.

Shaikha gave her a thumbs up and put on her gold Aviator glasses again. She found the nearest restroom and went in. She reapplied her lipstick and applied more concealer under her eyes. She sighed as she thought to herself, I look so tired.

Fishing through her purse, she finally found her phone. Shaikha headed out the bathroom and texted back her friends. There were numerous messages and miss calls that were not taken care of.

In a matter of seconds, Shaikha bumped into something that was quite large and her cellphone flew right out of her hands. Everything came apart from the phone. Shaikha wobbled, she was losing her balance. Ohhh crap, lalaa please please mabi a6eeee7 afashel 3umrii !

Astonishingly, a quick breeze of strong hands held her. She looked up, and there he was.
